Sherry’s clients find that they are deeply affected on all levels by their work with her, which continues to lead them to experience greater levels of awareness and healing.

For the past 30 years, Sherry Olevsky has been healing and transforming people's bodies.

A former professional dancer, Sherry studied jazz, ballet and tap, and performed around the world, in addition to dancing on television, film, and in music videos.

As a complement to her passion for dancing, Sherry began to teach Pilates at The Ron Fletcher Pilates Studio in 1989. This new endeavor ignited her interest in kinetics and how the physical body functions and led to additional training under the leading Pilates experts. It was a debilitating back injury though in 1994 that caused Sherry to explore different types of bodywork to relieve her pain. Her discovery of the Hellerwork Method of Structural Integration was a turning point in Sherry's life. Her pain decreased significantly, but more importantly, Sherry knew in her heart that she had the deep personal connection to the human body to use this method to help people even further. In 1997, Sherry went on to study and graduate from the world-renown California Hellerwork Institute.

During her Hellerwork studies, Sherry was introduced to the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®. She experienced how the three diensional fluid movement of GYROTONIC® exercise restored the strength and range of movement that she had lost from her back injury and was inspired to learn more. Sherry traveled to study with GYROTONIC® master trainers Debra Rose and Nora Heiber and has spent time in New York training with the inventor of the system, Juliu Horvath.

It was all of these experiences that led to Sherry working one-on-one with clients in 1996.

An important key to helping others has been Sherry's lifelong engagement to her spiritual well being and has been studying with Taoist Master Leong Tan for over 20 years. Her studies include practicing and learning meditation and Taoist healing techniques. Sherry’s Taoist practice has opened a door that allows her to tap into her intuition, a skill that deeply enhances each of her client’s sessions. Where she once only saw physical imbalances and restrictions in movement, Sherry now sees how deep emotional and energetic patterns and restrictions effect an entire person. These internal maladies often show up as physical symptoms.
