“Going into my 5th year in the NFL, post-season recovery and overall body improvement is a must. I’m very glad that I met Sherry and was introduced to Gyrotonic exercise. The possibilities with Gyrotonic exercise are almost endless! Early on, Sherry helped me heal my body through motion, and later on she crushed me through tough workouts without loading the spine and joints like conventional weight lifting. Gyrotonic exercise will undoubtedly help you gain a greater awareness of your body and your movement patterns, and it will quickly expose movement disfunction that is holding you back from being your best! I personally saw a huge benefit in my lower back and overall core strength, as well as strengthening my feet and ankles. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in improving their body, managing chronic pain, or looking to improve as an athlete.”

“ I became a client of Sherry a few years ago after a car accident that left me severely injured with quite a lot of pain in my back and hip. Sherry’s amazing structural bodywork, along with her Gyrotonic and Pilates instruction have worked incredibly well. My body is pain-free and so much stronger than before. I’m really amazed at how great my muscle-tone is now and how it keeps improving.  Being a dancer, I’ve done a lot of different workouts over the years but none have worked as well or have been as satisfying as working out with Sherry. She has a deep commitment to her clients and I trust her completely. She is simply awesome!”

“I went to see Sherry after a difficult divorce and move from New York. I was so stressed out, emotionally and physically exhausted and my shoulder was completely frozen. I was in a lot of pain and could not sleep at night. In just one session, some of the pain was relieved and I could raise up my arm.  Sherry told me that there was a connection to my gallbladder. I was skeptical. I wondered, ‘How could this be? How could she know this?’ but a few weeks later, after a rich Thanksgiving dinner, I began to experience pretty severe pain in my right side. I contacted Sherry by text. She told me to see a doctor right away, and after a sonogram and an MRI, I was diagnosed with gallstones. Sherry was not only correct; she knew what to do to heal my body. She is a skilled and amazing energetic healer. I always looked forward to my sessions with her as they relieved my pain, and I could feel that my body was healing. I left feeling centered, with a sense of calm. I released tension and energetic blocks. I now have full range of motion in my shoulder. I never needed surgery on my shoulder or surgery to remove the gallstones which were options suggested by my doctors. I also did Pilates and Gyrotonic exercise with Sherry to keep my body moving and gain strength. Working with Sherry has been an experience that changed my life. Oh, and I lost 10 pounds too! ”

“I came to Sherry because of my physical therapist’s recommendation.  My first treatments with her were Structural Integrative Bodywork. Those sessions have been of immeasurable value. After a lifetime of sitting at a piano, either practicing or performing, my sacrum had the mobility of a wall, and my lumbar spine wasn’t much better.  Then I began doing Gyrotonic exercise with her. After two Gyrotonic sessions, I was convinced that Sherry had worked magic.  I walked with more mobility and moved in space with greater ease.  I woke each morning with increasingly less lower-back stiffness. I feel so fortunate to have met Sherry and to be a beneficiary of her expertise. Finding things that make one’s daily life perceptibly better is difficult.  Gyrotonic exercise under Sherry’s instruction is a great, new find for me.”

“Ok, here’s my two cents and that rounded up is your money’s worth! Sherry Olevsky is the real deal! I’ve had hundreds of massages and bodywork sessions over my 25 year professional dance career and the buck stops here. If you’re looking for someone to address your injury or correct your alignment, then Sherry is your person. She really looked at me and listened to my body while working so she is someone who is not just “doing” a technique on you but rather someone who is looking at the underlying problem and addressing that muscle, ligament or nerve area to correct. I can’t say enough good things but know you will be in good knowledgeable hands with her.”
